Clearly reflective of where university students spend their money is the pie chart. Half of their budget is spent on daily food while only 2% of their money on the study. Entertainment also accounts for a considerable proportion, which is 24%, and the figure for communication cost is 12 % which is the same as make-up and clothes in total.
Significantly contributing to the phenomenon are the following reasons. In the first place, like food, entertainment is also an indispensable part of students' life. As the competition at university as well as in the job market becomes ever fiercer students are under heavy pressure and have to resort to entertainment for relaxation. In addition the mobile phone is also playing an important role in students' life. As the mobile device has been equipped with more and more practical functions, it has been very useful in helping students memorize English words, search for information and etc, so it’s no wonder that students spend much money on communication fee.
Thus, it is sad to observe that too little money is saved for study. However, since students are supposed to focus on study rather than anything else. it is recommendable that students invest more money buying books and cut back on expenditure on unnecessary costumes or entertainment.

造成这一现象的主要原因如下。首先，像食物一样娱乐也是学生生活中不可缺少的一部分。随着大学和就业市场的竞争越来越激烈，学生们承受着巨大的压力，不得不通过娱乐来放松自己。此外，手机在学生的生活中也扮演着重要的角色。随着移动设备的功能越来越多，它在帮助学生记忆英语单词和搜索信息等方面非常有用，所以学生花很多钱在通信费用上也就不足为奇了。
因此，很遗憾地看到预留给学习的钱太少了。然而，因为学生应该把精力集中在学习上而不是其他事情上，我们建议学生花更多的钱买书，减少不必要的服装或娱乐开支。
