Clearly reflective of China’s education budget and its proportion in GDP from 2007 to 2014 is the chart. The eight years witnessed a steady increase in the budget as well as its proportion. Money spent on education rose from less than 1 trillion in 2007 to more than 4 trillion in 2014, and only around 3% of GDP was invested to education in the beginning,but the figure rose to 4. 15% in the end.
Significantly contributing to the phenomenon are the following reasons. In the first place, the rapid growth of our country’s economy gave rise to a larger budget. As the economy flourished during that period, China had more money than before to save for the education industry and cultivate future talents. In addition, China was increasingly aware of the benefits of education investment. Education is the driven force for the industrial innovation and the boom of the economy, which means every penny going to the education will yield good returns than expected.
Thus, it is predictable that the trends will continue in the future. In order to enhance the soft power, it is recommendable that our government keep investing more money in the education industry and spare no effort to nurture the talents for the modernization of China.

图表清晰地反映了从2007年到2014年中国教育预算及其占GDP的比例。这8年预算及其占GDP的比例稳步上升。教育支出从2007年的不足1万亿元增加到2014年的4万亿元以上，一开始教育支出仅占GDP的3％左右，但最终增长到4.15％
