Write an essay based on the chart below. In your writing, you should

Clearly reflective of the reasons why students take postgraduate entrance examination is the pie chart. 45% of people vote for employment pressure while only 2% of students surveyed take the examination because of the influence from boyfriend or girlfriend. Expectations from family also rank high, accounting for 31%, but the figure for the influence from others around is only 4%.
Significantly contributing to the phenomenon are the following reasons. In the first place, the competition in the job market is becoming ever fiercer. Many students have to enhance their core competitiveness by gaining a higher degree if they want to receive a good job offer. In addition, the Chinese have a natural admiration for those with a higher degree. Chinese parents believe that holding a master degree exhibits their kid' s smartness and intelligence, which is also a great glory for the family, so they tend to provide considerable support for their kids to obtain a degree.
Thus, many students pursue the master degree so as to seek a better job and live up to their parents. However, it is recommendable that students figure out what they truly want so that they can make the right choice and avoid wasting time and energy.

因此，很多学生考研是为了找到好工作和不辜负父母的期望。然而，建议学生应当弄清楚自己真正想要的是什么，这样他们才可以做出正确的选择，避免浪费时间和精力。
