Clearly reflective of the ratio of overweight population to the total population in China from 2002 to 2015 is the chart. The proportion rose from 200 in 2002 to around 60% in 2015.
Significantly contributing to the phenomenon are the following reasons. In the first place,peoples living conditions have notably improved. As people's income increases, they have more money to spend on meat. milk and other delicious but high-fat food, and hence they put on weight much more quickly than before. In addition, people are suffering from the lack of physical exercise. In modern society, most people can do almost everything at home without going out, like ordering food, talking to friends, even doing activities, which substantially reduces the amount of time that they spend outdoors and consequently give rise to the increase in their weight.
Thus, it is predictable that overweight population, if not controlled, will continue to rise. It is recommendable that people do outdoor exercise regularly and the government promote the awareness of healthy life pattern so that people can live a healthier and happier life

因此，可以预见的是，如果不加以控制，超重人口将继续增加。人们应当定期进行户外运动，政府应该提高人们对健康生活的意识，让人们过上更健康、更幸福的生活。
