Clearly reflective of the different purposes of study among different age groups is the chart. Around 80% of people under 29 study for career development, while those who study for interest in this age group only account for around 10%.However, 70% of people in their fifties and over are motivated to study by interest, with only 20% of people in this group still continuing study for the professional prospect.
Significantly contributing to the phenomenon are the following reasons. On the one hand, the young generation needs to study to enhance their working skills. Although young people are energetic,they lack the necessary skills and experience that enable them to excel at work, so they need to go to a prestigious school for knowledge and a better opportunity in employment. On the other hand,seniors usually place emphasis on self-fulfillment. As people grow senior, they have either accumulated considerable experience or retired from work, which means that they do not have to study for promotion and they tend to learn something new based on their hobbies to make their life more colorful.
Thus, people are less and less willing to study for career development as they grow older. It is recommendable that young people spend sometime developing their interest by study so that they can be released from the heavy pressure of the job.

因此，随着年龄的增长，人们越来越不愿意为了职业发展而学习。年轻人应当花一些时间通过学习发展他们的兴趣，这样他们才可以从工作的巨大压力中得到释放。
