Clearly reflective of the number of registered volunteers nationwide as well as in different provinces, along with the hours they have devoted is the picture. There have been more than 25 million registered volunteers nationwide, and the number in more than five provinces have exceeded 1 million.Volunteers in China have provided 6.1 billion hours of overall voluntary service.
Significantly contributing to the phenomenon are the following reasons. In the first place, our government has been promoting the benefits that volunteering work can bring People are influenced positively by the promotion and willing to give their share of love free of charge because they believe their actions can bring about greater goodness. In addition, there is an increasing need for voluntary work. For example, as the population grows old,there is a shortage of workforce and a rise in the number of seniors, which requires more volunteers to fill the vacancy and take care of the old.
Thus, we are still in need of selfless volunteers who can make tremendous contribution to the well being of society. It is recommendable that our government make policies to encourage people to become volunteers so that our society can be better and friendlier.

因此，我们仍然需要无私的志原者，他们可以为社会的福祉做出巨大贡献。我们的政府应当制定政策鼓励人们成为志愿者，这样我们的社会就会更美好，更友好。
